Angel, Bailey's big, chestnut Thoroughbred gelding cantered around the ring. Bailey's kept rhythem with his step, moving with him, trying to make the ride as comfertable for him as it was for her. She had perfect form as she sailed over the first jump. She kept her heels down and her back arched, her gorgeous gray eyes looking ahead.
She pulled out of the line, skipping the next jump. She sat back on her seat and reined him in slowing him first to a trot, and then to a walk. She felt him sigh under her. She smiled and patted his smooth neck and said, What a good boy.
She reached back and pulled her extremely long braid over her shoulder and fiddled with the of it. She loved to ride. It was her life. She would gladly give up everything if it meant still being able to ride her horse. When she rode, it was the only time she was truly care-free and happy. That was when she loved life, when she was with her horse.

Kristine glanced around the fenced area, everything was empty except for the jumping arenia, go figure. She rolled her icy eyes and then strained to see who was in there, Was it Izzi?!? How she loathed that girl, LOATHED her! She sighed and sifted the weight in her saddle, she felt Stardust sigh, a small nicker escaping her maw. Easy girl... she cooed softly, to the gray speckled mare. She lifted her reins softly and entered an empty arenia, and clicked, signally a slow trot. The mare picked up and began trotting, slow and steady, together they had been showing western pleasure for years. It was a breeze, simple and elegant, effortless to the pair. Kristine smiled for all great show people must be able to do this and ride. Eyes shifting to the left to catch a glance at the jumper.

Bailey looked around with intrest. She saw a western rider in another ring. She looked with her head cocked curiously to one side. She liked to watch the western riders do their thing. English was fancy and conservative, but western was ride it like you stole it! But, she still liked english better. English was jumping, and jumping was like flying. Especially with Angel. She bent down and patted his neck lovingly.
Bailey picked up a nice canter and started her course. She jumped the first jump, a double oxer then the next one, a fence. Angel's ears were pirked and his tail streamed out behind him. As she hit the roll top, the hardest jump in the ring to hit, the most advanced one, she smirked. She had to admit, when it came to riding, she loved to show off.

Kristine smiled, and picked up the reins gently, and pursed her lips letting out a kissing noise. Dusty picked up into a smooth canter, rocking like a boat. Kristine sat firmly, her back straight, as the horse's rocking motion swept back and forth. Thank god it wan't Izzi, just a normal boarder.

She slowed Angel. She let him walk. She was finished. She dropped her feet from the stirrups and let her form drop. She was tired. And even though she had the best saddle money could buy, her ass would still hurt when she got off.
She needed to walk out Angel, let him cool down. She looked over at the chick, cantering around the ring. She steered Angel from the jumping ring and into the ring with that girl. She walked around casually in the ring. She hoped she didn't seem like she was intruding to this girl. She didn't want to start anything. She hated drama.

Kristine smiled and watched from beneath her black glasses, she let out a Whoa, pulling back on the reins ever so lightly. Dusty stopped on a dime. Why hello she cooed from above, looking down upon the girl and her horse.
Christopher came from the stables, Spitfire following behind him, Switch me! he yelled over at Kristine, but she seemed preoccupied, so he decided he'd bring Spitfire to her. The stallion was a two year old. An arabian, with a gorgeous red coat. Kristine was training him to be a barrel racer, and it was going along fine for her. But Spitfire, always seemed to bump heads with Chris.

Bailey smiled and said, Hey. She heard someone call from a ways away. She turned in her saddle and saw a guy holding the lead rope of a chestnut arabian. She wondered what that horse was like to ride, arabians were one of the easiest rides. But that one looked a little green, under-trained.

Kristine saw her brother, Chris coming from the stables with Spitfire, Quit being such a whimp nad ride him! she yelled back as he got closer.
Chris reached the two, Just ride him, please? he asked a bit kinder although his patience where worn thin.
Kristine sighed, He's your horse... she mumbled as she got down off of Stardust, Get on dusty she instructed, as the two switched horses. I'm Kristine by the way she stood the girl as she reached up to grab the horn of the saddle, sticking one foot in the stirrup and then pulling herself up onto the horse.

Bailey smiled and said, I'm Bailey. She watched them switch horses. She would ride that horse, that would be insanely fun. One of them could hop on Angel, he was perfect. She patted Angel's flame colored neck affectionatly.

Kristine smiled, Aye, Ello Bailey she cooed softly as she lifted the reins, Spitfire's audits pricking. I'm training him for barrels she explained as she took off her black glasses and passed them over to Chris who was now sitting up on Dusty. Her icy eyes stared back at Bailey, unblinking, scanning her. They seemed like they could see into your very soul, which was quiet scary.

Bailey nodded and smiled at Spitfire. He was a lively one, she had to admit. But Angel seemed to have a bit of a problem with him. He pinned his ears to his head and rolled his eyes. Heyyy, Bailey growled harshly at him. She could see Chris watching her from the corner of her eye, she looked away, she didn't like the feeling of his stare. What did he want?

Kristine smiled, and then turned Spitfire towards the arena, A lot of horses have that reaction she joked, as she entered the small white gate. She lifted the reins, the arabian's ears pricked up, listening for his que, he always listened to Kristine.
Chris looked over at Bailey, I'm Chris, Kristine's brother

Bailey let herself look at him again. She said, I'm Bailey. She nudged Angel on the sides and he walked forward. She didn't want to keep him standing still, he would get restless.

Kristine pursed her lips and let out a kiss, she felt Spitfire's muscles tense as he lept forward at full speed. She whooped and hollered to the stallion and he sped up faster, nostrils flaring. She turned him in a circle, to the left then the right.

Bailey watched. She had never seen anyone train a horse that way. To let it go so quickly. They didn't even warm up. She looked away. Whatever, she didn't know how they trained western horses. But, she had never seen an arabian be a barrel racer, she knew that didn't happen very much.
She squeezed her heels lightly to Angel's sides and he walked forward obidently. Bailey leaned forward onto his neck and gave him a hug. She loved him.
